Will the first poster PM me with their choice of the following weeks subject so that I can amend this Title before Friday thanks thanks.

Please could everyone read the rules of this thread before posting so that everyone is clear about what and when to post :D

Photo Challenge guide .
1. Each weeks challenge commences midnight on Saturday and finishes Midnight on the following Saturday . (This is to give everyone 2x chances to take both weeks pictures on a weekend.)
2. Only a single image is to be submitted for each weeks challenge in this thread. ( there is no reason why we couldn't start another thread to post further images.)
3. Only images that have been taken during the subject challenge week are eligable .( No early and No late posts please if you miss the deadline )

4. The first person to post the weeks challenge image can they please PM me with their choice for the following weeks challenge or include it with their weekly photo. Pleaseo not start a new post with your suggestion.
1x image only please ....so make it count.
Picture must have been taken this week.

The idea is to take a picture of your baby with the weeks Photo Challenge theme in the background with as much photographic artistry as you can .
Don't forget to add the Location and some info about your scooter
First person to post every week gets to choose the subject for the following week.

OK what idiot chose old post boxes ?................oh it was me doh ..

Took me 2x hours to find one local to me that hasn't been removed in the Governments Rural Post Office Closure program

So I was hammering down this narrow remote country lane, avoiding huge puddles and some sucidal Jack Russel that suddenly ran out of nowhere and under my front wheel when the engine coughed and cut out ...... damn.

Coasted into the next convenient layby and stopped right in front of some swanky electric sliding gates of a local Consultant we know . :D what are the odds of that ?
So I pushed the intercom button....'John Hi..... urrrr have you got any 2x stroke mower fuel ...I've run out outside your house.'

So after faffing around with milk bottles and rolled cardboard funnels I finally got off again but not before I'd kicked the damn scoot over about a zillion times .

So .......here is my 64 LiS 150 special in front of the Hinton St George Post box (Somerset) which for some peculiar reason is 1/2 a mile down the road from the Village Post Office

ImageThanks for the challenge pic taken at Jagger Green Elland.
I managed to get off early from work today and decided to go for a blast before it got dark, glad I did as I found these two next to each other.

nice one Phil. I think i much prefer the first image personaly

If you or anyone else wishes to add an image directly instead of uploading to imageshack etc then the following should do it.
You edit one of your existing posts to add your image

At the bottom of your post
select 'Upload attachment'
select 'Browse'
click on your image
Select 'Open'
in the attachment window select 'Add the file'
Then click your mouse cursor in the text of your post where you want to place your image .
Select 'Place in Line'
Then select 'Submit' and that should do the trick ;)

I've been past there; lived in Bluebell Rd for a while.

Tried to upload a test picture as described above but 256kb limit. How do you get them smaller?

some really excellent images ...
well done everyone .
The person who posts the first image for each weekly challenge gets to choose the following weeks challenge and Steve has already chosen a very relevant subject for next week as he will be away for the week.
I'll let you all know midnight on Sunday.

A little ride out to the Cotswolds produced these two photos.

Elmley Castle - Nestling at the northern slope of Bredon Hill, is reputed to be one of the 10 most beautiful villages in England

Guiting Power - great pub there, called the hollow bottom!

Re: New Weekly Photo Challenge War Memorials

Postby johnnyXS » Sun Oct 30, 2016 10:07 pm

This weeks theme is War Memorials from midnight 30th October to midnight 5th November

Steves suggestion is perfect for Poppy week as we commemorate all those who lost their lives in conflict since 1914
The idea is to take a picture of your baby with a War Memorial in the background with as much photographic artistry as you can .
Don't forget to add the Location and some info about your scooter
