I totally understand this dilemma. It's also how people end up with a few scooters!
I regret building my Gp in the style I chose but can't bring myself to change it now. I have a bi monthly yearning for another gp to do in a different style.

Yep, that's why I just got rid of the chop frame, can't see me getting round to it.

Start bolting a few bits back up

Another inspiration scooter.
I saw this on the bench at Jason's shop halfway through the build and was in awe of it, painted by Maca and the copper plating is just so rite.

Yep even my "work stand" is retro lol
These are manuals I was given but all are cool retro car ones.
And myself have had (apart from 3) all Vw's having just got back behind the wheel of a heavily lowered passat estate 8-)

I had a dream about a little cutdown/chop that I built.
Standard forks, straight bars, bates light mounted on the stock, wassle tank mounted, snett seat, painted in a tropical blue metalflake and I called it "Echo Beach".
80s style mural on the tank of a sexy robot sunbathing on an intergalactic beach.
Against the blue was loads of chrome and pike nuts (obvs) and the engine block and hubs were powdercoated white.

5 years worth of dust and surface rust removed.
Tank will be dropped off at chromers this week.

Frame needs brackets putting back on for tank mount and rear mudguard.
I got a little giddy in my vision of a totally smooth frame some years a go.Image

Having a couple of bits engraved for the cutdown.
Sent off an engine clutch lever, front brake arm and Maltese Cross rear light unit

Threw it all together to see how it looks, I'm doing both drops and full GP headset so I can change it round.

There's just the horn bracket to remove from the front of the frame.
Then rear mudguard to mock up and fixings for the petrol tank before it can go off for base paint.
