Just picked this up locally - a nice unrestored 1969 dl 125.
Needs a carb overhaul,a t-cut a tiny bit of welding to the frame strut, some new tyres, a mot and she's ready to go.
I'll pop some more pics on when I can.

So it's been a busy weekend.....
Stripped down the dl.... My friend Barry welded the strut, and prepared the front mudguard. I decided that I couldn't live with the big bare patch on its nose, so I spayed it with a rattle can from lambrettapaint.com. Great match. I put about 8 thin coats on and it will be flatted and polished next week.
I gunked and jet washed all the muck grease and dust of it and and rebuilding the front hub
Rebuild will continue next week, hope to be mot'd and on the road by Thursday

Lovely scooter.
Are you keeping it as a 125?

Ive put a GT186 kitted Li 150 in it for now.
Interestingly when I took the original engine out, I found that its got a 175cc top end. It did seem a bit more sprightly than a standard 125 when I rode it!!!
