Enjoyed taking the 'L' plates off today.

That was much harder work than I thought, all of it post CBT was weekdays and I struggle for leave at work. Anyway;

CBT, Theory Test, Hazard Awareness Test, Mod 1 (passed third time...), Mod 2 (fail) CBT (again, how long is this taking!) MOD 2 (passed 3rd time)

Everything post CBT done on a 650 Suzuki Gladius. Which I am now quite fond of... but hope to never see again.

When given the result by the examiner, and in front of my burly big bike trainer (nice guy), it was quite fun to say 'I can get a 186 kit now'. lol.

Would reccomend anyone on L's does the training. And looking forward to getting on a ferry.

Well done Andie.

Ferries are always the best start to an adventure.

They don't make the test any easier do they. 20 years ago I only had to do CBT and road test. Well done in passing and enjoy the open road

Don't forget to let the insurance company know. Well done. Passed mine in 1971. Most of us took our L Plates off so we could put a nice lady on the back. Was always getting stopped by plod, that's when we had Police.

Thank you for your kind words.

St George, good call; I rang the insurance company and let them know. All good, My premium (named classic) has gone up some though! it'll be all that motorway riding with a pillion that I am (never) going to do now :)

Well done, I struggle to understand how people ride for years on ‘L’ plates. Each to his own I suppose though! :D
