Ok boys your views please complete rebuild when trying to start can feel the clutch slightly engaging.slack clutch off starts fine then it’s not engaging enough when in gear ? It one or the other

Is this a standard four plate clutch as Innocenti intended, or an upgraded clutch?

Standard but has sirflex plates

There are some batches of 'Surflex' branded plates that are too thick - something like 15.5 mm for the four. They should be about 14 mm for the four cork plates. You can manage that out using thinner steels or top plates to allow more separation. Personally if you find they're some of these I'd get something else.
