Homologation numbers on series 2 Li150

Postby jag-you-r » Sun Oct 04, 2020 11:46 am

Hi Guys.... Just joined LCGB and Seeking advice on homologation numbers.. Am about to purchase a very nice Li150, series 2. Declared as built in 1960, but on examining the frame number it looks genuine Innocenti but there is NO homologation code following the frame number.
My thoughts are if built late in 1959 could this be pre Homologation stamping which I understand came in in Italy in August 1959 and was a late series 1 frame the same as an early series 2 frame.
Should I be concerned if every thing else appears correct?

Hi and welcome to LCGB and the forum. It will be fine if it is a '59, as you say pre homologation.

They are actually 1960 manufactured numbers, so I am not so sure now as Homologation numbers started in August 1959.
