I'm about to MOT and attempt to register my Lince. It’s a 1984, 200cc.

All the online guides seem to assume you'll be registering as 'historic' class.

Am I correct in thinking -

1. Taxation Class will be 'MOTORCYCLE'
2. I have to pay the first registration fee (£55) and a years tax (£42) so I put £97 in box 4 on the V55/5

One more stupid question

NOVA gives VIN as SX200567nnn
MOT is the same
Dating certain says -SX200-567nnn-

What goes on the V55/5 - I read somewhere it should just be the digits and that's what's on my GP V5 - thoughts?

Don't worry about the dashes or stars Ross, they will ignore them.
