Wolfie Smith's Series 1

Postby ITK » Wed Apr 22, 2020 10:20 am

In a shameless plug for the forthcoming edition of ScooterNova magazine [the independent scooter publication that supports the LCGB and has never carried adverts for a certain Bloac ;-) ], we have a triple whammy of former Mike Karslake museum scooters in number 19.
These include Wolfie's Li Series one from the BBCTV sitcom of the 70s, with a look at the history of the scooter from Mike's purchase of it to the present day owner.
We also have Mike's old Fire Engine and the LPS three-wheeler featured, all ahead of the planned Mike Karslake Memorial event in June.

Edition 19 is at the printers now (22 April), and you can subscribe or pre-order for delivery direct to your home via this link: https://scooternova.bigcartel.com/category/magazines
Thank you and stay safe folks.

That was the one, they broke down and police suspected they had drugs on them so stripped the bike on the road side, rebuilt it and it started first kick......not sure it was the Spanish police in Italy/Wales.. ;)
Funnily enough I only watched it a few weeks back.....they don't make telly like that anymore.

Yes it was 'Italian' police but filmed in Wales. We do mention that and the GP in the ScooterNova magazine article. The GP's number plate was Italian and according to DVLA has not been taxed for quite some time now.
