At the bottom of the post box where you are writing your message, you see a "Upload Attachment" tab.

Click on that and simply choose a file from your desktop to upload it.

It's very simple on this forum now. If you have further problems, let me know and I'll post a thorough guide.

I'm trying to post a picture, but it says the file is too big. :( It would appear from googleing file re-sizeing that I have to upload each picture I want to post to a picture software suite (which I don't have) then work out how to resize the file, then resave it under a different name then upload it to my post. Please tell me I've got that wrong and it's a lot simpler!!

If the above is correct, in addition to the new "simpler" method of uploading a file, would it be possible to have the old method available as well, using a photo hosting site?

Thanks. Trev.

you can upload to www.lambretta-images.com and the server there will auto resize the images.

Thanks for that, but it would still be a lot easier (for me anyway) if the BB Code was switched on in all sections, rather than just in some. For example it's switched on in this section, but not in the "Wanted" section where I am trying to post with a picture.

you could still use the site to make the image the right size, then right click the image and save it back to your computer to upload here ;)

Paul. I think the thorough guide might be useful, because I am struggling.
I am doing the following in Show Your Ride:
Click - New Topic
Enter - Subject
Enter - Text
Click - Upload attachment
Click - Choose file (then search for the file on my hard disc, where I click on Choose or Select)
Click - Add the file

Then, if I click on Preview, the photo appears, but when I click on Submit, I can no longer see the photo ?
I am using a Macbook Pro, in case this makes any difference.

Phil.
