1) Open a free account with photobucket or any Photo hosting Site

2) Upload an image from your PC, web or mobile phone.

3) When you've got the picture you want on photo bucket hit the edit button on the blue bar under the picture you want to use as your avatar

4) The picture will come up then click on "switch to advanced editor" (don't be afraid)

5) When that opens click on the image part then from the drop down menu image size this will open with a smaller box, untick the "constrain proportions" and replace whatever the original said in the width and height with 100 and 100 then click OK and you'll see its been re-sized.

6) Then click file and from the drop down menu click save, and you'll find in your album in its new size. At this stage open a new window with the LCGB site and log into your account, keeping the photobucket one open,

7) Go to user control panel, options, then profile, then hit edit avatar.

8) Now go back to the photo bucket page and left click on the direct link and in little box should come up saying copied

9) Go back to the edit avatar page on the LCGB and right click on the link off-site box then hit paste.

10) Hit submit, the page will refresh and say your profile has been updated and there you go picture next to your name.

Another easy way to add one is to upload your image to lambretta-images.com and copy the URL of the smallest version of your uploaded image, then use that URL in the link off site field.

watch this short video for a demo of how to do this
