PM Notifications

I used to get e-mail notifications when I received a PM but now I don't, anyone know the reason why? Just looked at my preferences and all the notifications are ticked as yes. Now I just have to spot the "New Messages" box at the top left which I sometimes miss.

It seems to be a hit and miss thing, sometimes I get them sometimes I don't.

I get them, I am with Sky B/B and Gmail.
