I've got one on the Jet Paul, cheap model boat one off ebay and works a treat, loctited the grub screws

Looks like this has worked but time will tell if it holds up. As usual, it took plenty of fettling.

Looks like this has worked but time will tell if it holds up. As usual, it took plenty of fettling.


I spoke too soon. Twice I loctited the grub screw in on the petrol lever side. First time it came loose but I spotted it had and loctited it in again. Second time, grub screw made a bid for freedom. That was with a small hole drilled in the lever to house the grub screw. I don’t think they can withstand the vibrations.

I am going to go back to the usual arrangement but with the MB extension.
