PHBH 26 jetting

Postby Norfolk » Sat Jul 21, 2018 10:31 pm

Mugello 186. Ancillote exhaust.varitronic ignition
Dellorto PHBH 26 carburettor
Main 104
Pilot 48
Atomiser AV 266
Needle X7 second clip
Slide 40
Choke 70
Engine has always only idled at its best with both the mixture and idle screws both fully screwed in.

I have been checking several sites for recommendations of jetting and am now throughly confused

What are other people using please.

Jetting looks fine to me for your set up but something is definitely not right if both mixture and idle are screwed right in, especially mixture.

Could I ask is there any body out there running a 186 muggy with a reed valve set up? I found my mark 1 version stuck in the back of the garage from when there were no replacement pistons around anyhow I have match the reed valve and tidy up some areas and am looking at mating it with a 26 PHBH and a JL that was handed to me by a club member, so advice please.

Cheers Shane.
