LTH Reed valve manifold

Postby Meds » Sat May 18, 2019 11:48 am

My LTH Reed valve manifold has developed a dirty big air leak- I suspect that the rubber has hardened and need to replace it- I’m looking for a V-VM28–200 manifold but don’t seem to be able to source one- any pointers where I can get one.
I’ve made a temporary repair unsing some instant gasket- will this work or are there any pitfalls to this.

Although a proper new rubber is not cheap, they are a must have spare for any long journey, especially Poland.

Think about it boys and girls. You know it makes sense.

Wise words- I had the rubber on and off a few times trying to trace an unrelated fault - no indication that it was going to fail
