22mm Jetex Carb

Postby srx600 » Wed May 11, 2022 10:00 am

I recently stripped the 22mm Jetex on my largely standard Li150 to check the jets and slide were correct. I have a reasonably good understanding of how carbs work (mainly Japanese) but was a bit surprised to see the slider did not have a needle. From what i have read the Jetex is a copy of a Dellorto so presumably that lacked a needle as well.
Is this common for two strokes of that era ?

Yes. You'll find excellent confirmation of the mechanics of the SH range here:

I'm guessing,? But with the slide having no needle in the SH range the main jet has a greater influence over the full range of carburation than on a carb with a needle?
