Gori 50 & Dellorto 30

Postby DaveTomo » Sat May 31, 2014 11:12 am

Right I'll start the ball rolling.... Anyone running a Gori 50 box pipe? After a starting point on a 225,previously run a 48 mm clubman & the carb was Dellorto 30 PHBH open mouth hole in the panel, tea strainer filter
atomiser/needle jet AV266
main jet 122
float jet 300
X7 needle second clip
40 slide
55 pilot
choke 70
mixture screw 3 turns out.
BGM stator set at 17 BTDC static
Now I thought (foolishly) it wouldn't be much different, but bogs quite dramatically around 1/2 throttle upwards so I'm presuming it makes its power totally different to the clubman.Anyone running this combo be able to give me an idea of there set up please?

Not running a Gori Dave but have the same set up on 225 Mugello with Taff Mk 4. Have you tried top clip as moving up a clip worked for me when mine was boggy mid range.

No worries Dave, just keep an eye on plug colour at mid range that's all.
