Hi peeps

What is the best way to remove the neck inside an airbox?

Thanks for any pointers.

The quickest and easiest way I found was to use a die grinder, quite a straight forward operation.

Dremel or similar with the small cutting discs you'll need 3 or 4 though they don't last long .

I have a brand new never used BMG big air box and fast flow filter if your interested? Powder coated white with GP scoop and all stainless nuts and bolts. £100. Cost a bit more than that, but remains unused and collecting dust.
PM me if your interested?

Thanks for the replies fellas. I may just run it without the airbox.

Thanks for the offer Watford white but I have other more important routes for my cash at the moment.

You could drill holes in the airbox. If you do it on the toolbox side it's not noticeable.

You could buy mine shown in the link it's painted white I fitted it and it was great then changed the engine and used a downdraught manifold and 30 mm carb so no longer needed for authentic looks

Gone back to a drilled airbox and seems to be running ok. Time will tell regarding reliability.
