PHBL 25mm

Hi All, Trying to jet my PHBL 25mm dellorto carb. I have a series 3 special all stock except the carb and bored out to a175. starts on first kick with choke. seems good until WOT. not sure how to describe whats happining. Has no power at WOT. seems to run smooth but weak.
main jet 98
needle 22@ middle
Haven't checked other jet sizes because It starts and idles great.

Forgot to mention the mix screw is all the way in it may run a little better. I think from what I gathered it should be about 2 turns out

Ive just fitted on of these for someone on a TV 175. cant remember the needle but 108 main and i think a 50 pilot, sorry i should have written it down. Nice little kit though running through the standard air box with bgm filter.

Weston On Trent scooter rally. (Ucranian youth camp) just an excuse for a piss up really, im playing a gig on the Friday then doing WOT on the Saturday.

Do a plug chop (on WOT). I suspect your running too rich.......so either lower the main jet or get more air in.......

Thanks Mick, did it. Runs much better. Down to an 85 from 100. Seems like it may be running hot. I'll do a plug chop today. Thanks.
