Differance in atomisers

Wonder if anyone can help running a li125 special with 175 iron head sh1/20 carb and 42 clubman exhaust jets are 48 pilot and 118 main 5889.2 atomiser still running a bit lean which way for I need to go with atomiser to richer up 1 or 3.cheers.....

Same set up as mine. Check you have the 150 slide not the 200 one. With these atomisers, the bigger the holesthe leaner it is. Here's a useful image...

Cheers kid it's got the 5914-1 slide in at the moment do you know if that's the correct one. ....

Evening I have a very similar setup and I am running pilot 45 choke 59 main 115 atomiser 5889 4 slide 5914 2 it has taken a fair bit of setting up. When the engine was first run it was on a 5889 5 atomiser but didn't run smoothly tried a 5889 2 which made it worse hence trying 5889 4 . Was running 112 main jet but just before derby 150 I opened up the air scoop under the seat which on top end gave symptoms of running out of fuel so upped the main jet and now runs well.Hope that all makes sense.
