PHBL and PHBH dimensions ?

Postby TrackTen » Thu Jan 18, 2018 5:33 pm

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me what the dimensions are front to back of a 25mm PHBL and the same for a 28/30mm PHBH are please

Both would be rubber mount types and the dimension without the bell mouths fitted please

According to Scooter Center catalogue, both are 90mm. I assume this is without a bellmouth.

Thanks Storkfoot

I didn’t realise they had dimensions

Odd though as when I just looked it shows the phbl as 90mm and the phbh as 96.3 mm ?

be careful also of the distance between the centre of the venturi & the bottom of the float chamber
it can sit on your cowling :o

Hi ULC Soulagent, can you re-check the above, as I've just measured my 3 x types & get
PHBH 26 & 28mm approx. 68mm from venture (choke) to underside of main jet holder &
PHBL 30mm approx. 75mm from venture to underside of main jet holder

a 26/28mm just fits in a filter box c/w air hose & the main jet holder rests on the head cowling ;)

Hi ULC Soulagent, I've re-checked my verniered dims with an engineers steel rule & I'm afraid your dims aren't correct :(
