175 - 200

I've been looking at the top end that came off my S2 TV175. Interesting to see that it has been taken out to 66.6, which I think I'm right in saying makes it a 200. It's obviously had some porting work done, and it looks like a good job too. I'm tempted to reuse it to be honest. But how reliable are these barrels? There seems to be enough meat left in it to use, but there is evidence that it has had a seize at some point. Worth doing or not?

Had lots of 62mm barrels taken out to 66 +.
Never had problems. Probably shows signs of a seize due to poor carburation.
The crank must be a 150 or 200 because the original conversion pistons only went to 65mm on the TV crank.

The Dinamin dykes ring conversion piston for 116 rod start at 66.0 and at least 2 oversized.

Well, that's a bonus. I'd heard talk of the original 175's being taken out to 200. I'm not sure it's one of those. The MB four stud exhaust gasket is a bit of a giveaway. But the principle is sound, so I'll give it a try. Thanks.
