Mugello 186, PHBH 30, Franspeed Supertourer, std LI150 box running 46x16 final drive. Runs great but can die a bit on steeper hills unless i give it plenty of beans and keep on it. Would it benefit from dropping to a 46x15? Or would it potentially be over revvy on the flat?

France Supertourer likes to rev so I imagine that 15/46 (5.2) would suit it better and allow it to stay in the power under most riding conditions.
