Lambretta produced a 'V' twin 250 motorcycle in small numbers, but the fact that the drawings & working prototype(s) for the twin cylinder engine to fit the S3 exist seems to indicate their intentions to me
Is the other hand, is there any evidence to suggest Innocenti intended to use a bore greater than 66 mm? Or create a bigger crankcase with capability of accepting cylinders from other manufacture?

I was lucky enough to buy my second targa recently, I had to buy the complete scooter that the targa was in, But it was worth it. A few have been up for sale this year but you need to be quick they dont stay for sale for long

I totally understand why a Lambretta fan would want to buy a Targa Twin as it represents the culmination of Innocenti's Lambretta development.

I had the opportunity, as so did many others, of riding one of the original Lambretta twin cylinder sx200's at the Rimini Lambretta open day a few years ago. Really nice, smooth as. Lovely.

I was thinking of selling my Targa due to lack of use.
