SIP Speedo speedo-drive speed sensor?

Does anyone on here run a SIP speedo using the external speed sensor that's driven by the speedo drive?
When setting up the speedo I assume because it's a speed sensor you choose 'EXT' for external speed input source, you then input the tyre circumference, but then how many pulses per wheel revolution do you need to input? I can't find any info on this type of speed sensor, can anyone tell me if they use this type of SIP sensor and what their setting is?
