Mugello 200 jetting

Postby 69GP225 » Thu May 12, 2022 4:06 pm

Hello,

Brother in law has a gp200 with mugello 200 kit.
It’s now run in and needs jetting correctly.

Running a dellorto 28mm carb. Ancelloti exhaust. No air box.

Bike seems to hesitate when opening throttle open quick?
Also running B8ES NGK PLUG.

What jetting would be correct or as a starting point ?

Thanks in advance

You should be somewhere close with these instructions:

https://www.lambretta.co.uk/downloads/mugello-setup.pdf

The other useful information is this:

http://www.iwt.com.au/private/Dellorto%20manual.pdf

If you read through both, you'l find a slight contradiction in what the minimum atomiser size should be. Dell'Orto explain all about atomiser sizes. Hopefully somebody (other than me) will wonder as to why CamLam recommend main jets of as low as 100 to 120 with atomisers of minimum 266 up to 272. IMHO a 264 should be fine, but err on the side of caution - I'd not rush out to buy a 266 if a 264 was in until proven necessary.
