Ken Cobbing Series 3 Twin Pipe Exhaust

I’m thinking of give one a try. I’ve heard they can give you a bit more top end but has anyone tried one? It’s an original S3 type not the S2 ones. The down pipe is also the 38mm standard size.

I wouldn’t bother to be honest, there is a lot of better box pipes out in the lambretta world

Forget it, the technology has moved on massively since these.

Feedback: I put one on and it’s okay with a little bit more over rev but it could waken the dead with the noise, although noise can make you heard by car drivers.
The engine is a Suzuki 185 conversion with 60x115 crank, Jetex 22 carb. It did have a standard Casa exhaust on which was great. The Ken Cobbing exhaust slipped directly onto the standard 38mm downpipe.

So did the over Rev give anymore top speed

I’ve not recorded the speed, however it seems slightly faster but definitely revs on through the gears better. I don’t do the big tunes anymore I guess another type of exhaust could be better but it suits me. I was out on it this morning with 2 big kitted Casa engines, stayed with them on the normal roads etc, they were obviously faster on the dual carriageway.
