Just in the process of picking up my recently rebuilt motor and I was thinking of running it from its 1st fill up using groundsman oil I’ve read of a few using this oil what % should I use?
I have 20 litres which I pick up and usually run on rock oil

I run it it 3 of my motors for the last 5 years all 4% been fine

Did a 1000 miles on my Avanti running in. Country roads, plenty of gear changing and up and down with the rev's. Used 4% SIP and the rings got stuck up with too much carbon. 4% was too rich for running in. With not giving it the rev's and heat it needed it wasn't burning off the oil. Would start with 3% if i did it again. I now run @ 2%.

Im using groundsman in 2x TS1 nicosil barrels and a steel lined TS1 plus a steel lined ali Vespa 210, all on 3%.

Im very happy with it, Ive just bought another 20litres.

3% Groundsman in my Ts1 200 and Reed valved Rapido 225.

Thank you all for your reply's it is much appreciated I will use up the rock oil that I already have on my P2 and use from now on the grounds man in my Rapido and when the TS is ready she will see nothing else but GM..
