Just building an RT230 in a SIL GP150 & Looks like the front sprocket is just touching the inner case when assembled..
I've checked sprocket and all put together correctly.
Question is do I need to fettle the inner case? It's only just touching by a nats c...
It's a SIL case.
Cheers

fettle it, If you use a thicker dished washer then you'll have a knock on effect with the clutch alignement IMHO

Are you saying that the top of the front sprocket stack is touching the inside of the chain case cover?

If so, then I would suspect an incorrectly assembled spring alignment. Try the hammer-test on the top of the spring retainer. If the hammer bounces, it is good. If it goes “clunk”, then take it apart and try again.

(Sorry if I have misinterpreted your OP)
