I’ve just dug this post up because I’m struggling to join a Casatronic, MB loom 0804K and a SIP Speedo. This is helpful (thanks Dimitrios) and solved the first condrum that the Casa diagram says ‘green to coil’ and the video says ‘green to loom’. You join them in the coil!! :D

Next problems, this loom has no brown just a twin red, the green for kill switch, a single red and a single yellow (and 2 into 1 connector I think is for joining red/yellow).

So I am presuming:

The twin red is for battery models and should I insulate it as I’m AC?

I join the SIP black in the coil with the Earth from frame/cdi/coil.

Then join the SIP red to the red from the stator at the coil

Then join the yellow and red from loom together and add the sip brown and put where normally a brown loom wire would go. (It’s just called ‘light’ on the Casa diagram).

And then I insulate the red/white from the stator as not needed.

And leave loom earths separately grounded.

Does that sound about right?

Any comments grateful received as electrics is definitely not my strong point :?

Thanks
Mark
