Ive added an EGT so I can see what’s happening when I hoon it, which is most of the time. It’s still happy as Larry riding all day at 60-65, but now I can see when it’s getting hot I can sit at 70-75 and it doesn’t miss s beat. Technique is to keep rolling the throttle. My main jet is rich so whenever the temperature is looking too hot I blip the throttle Wide open a couple of times and it drops straight away. Fuel consumption is still very good. There may be some downsides but I haven’t found them yet.

have you thought of a power jet or thumb choke.

Dave was thinking about a thumb choke, but not sure if he's going to go ahead with it.
He gave a Ducati rider a fright on the North Coast 500 after Dave kept up with him....quite funny

Funnily enough I've just been looking at some thumb chokes on FB. I think Martin (Corrado) Hyland does them.

At some point this winter I will get round to fitting a thumb choke. It will allow me to lean off the main jet, which is where I go when things get hot. It’s icing on the cake though. As Nudger says I chased and caught a Ducati rider, 83mph, albeit slightly down hill.

brumtony I'm using the dedicated Casa case for the Quattrani all is good mate fitted a cyclone pro also. Clutch wise AF Race in this one.. only thing that is tight is the CST exhaust to the side off the casing not much room.

Well, 60 or so miles into to my 218cc Chiselspeed built Quattrini and I’m very impressed. No big licks yet but the odd bit of fun and it’s flies. My TS1230 has probably got the jump on it but it’s a more linear power delivery rather than a kick in the pants when it gets on the pipe. LI150 box, 47/18, cassette clutch, TMX30, 60mm crank, CST10 curly and varitronic ignition. Initial set up on dyno with no miles on it showed 25bhp and 19ftlb.
