Never knew that! Is it very common knowledge that early Li Specials and TV175’s had white engine mounts?

I'd heard that some models had painted mounts. But I think it's very rare for them to survive.

I have a 150 Special case that’s got white mounts

how have they stood the testof time? any perceivable difference to the regular?

No they were still fine and hadn’t collapsed 1964 150 Special import, just had a white coat of paint on the outside

Ive had 2 tv175s with white engine mounts...and one without. the two that had were both 62 the other later..all were very original.

My ‘63 TV175 still has the flywheel side, white engine mount on, a lot of the paint has come off but you can still see it was white. I changed the kickstart side as that side that goes.
