Anyone experience of importing a full scoot from India???

I'm just in process of doing this and have a scoot being shipped to Folkstone in the next 4 weeks.
Any recommendation on shipping clearance company, rough idea on costs etc.

There is plenty of info on the net but wanted some direct advise from someone that's done it.

I've imported plenty of scooters from the Eu, so know the process, Nova, authentication, DVLA etc -Just not done one out outside Eu before.

Someone I know imported one from India it took 2 years for it to eventually arrive and it was basically scrap and not the scooter he thought he had paid for!! so beware I personally wouldn't I've heard too may horror stories. I think you would get more response in the chit chat section
