I have just taken delivery of my new machine, a 1949 model B in black which I thought had been repainted, I am now lead to believe this is an original colour for a very few model B’s mostly destined for the UK, although actually this one was found in Italy. Does anyone else have a black model B or know of one? Were they a special order? I can’t find anything about them in books or on the internet’s?
Any input appreciated
