I think the difference is that the spanish ones have "bressel" shown on them instead of "innocenti" and "veglia"

Yep, winter Li150 and early S3 speedo face, the Tv175 s had the 120 km faces.
125s had a lovely metal cast speedo blanking plate, with the Eibar motif.

Yeah that's right mine was a 125 and Buzz had to get a speedo out of the back of the shed as mine had a blanking plate.

Does anyone know of a source for these s3 bressel speedos or a source for a transfer we could apply to a veglia one?

Storkfoot wrote:"Eibar" horncast badge on a Series 2. Where they originally painted or just plain? I have assumed the paint has just fallen off over the years, however, there is not the slightest trace of paint on it anywhere.

From my knowledge I can remember Tony Danes ( BBoy's ) now living in NY having no paint on his Series 2 horn cast badge. I removed mine and polished it thus

I know that's a series 3 :)

Did this question actually get answered? the replies seem to be referring to the headlamp rim being different rather than if the reflectors were the same as the Italian counterparts :?

Slightly different Col, the fores original item fits / looks better. That said can I point people in the remade Bosatta item as being the best fitting remade item ( lens & reflector) that I know

Does anyone know what year this Spanish series 2 is?

Frame number is li1500075??

Think it's a 60 or 61? Hoping it's a 60' so it's pre mot.

Thanks

Pre-MOT is 1959 and earlier,at least it is with Italian Lambretta's.

The Red bits or the white bits ?

Don't think there are any published codes available - most advice appears to be get it scanned, which doesn't really help unless you have an untouched bit. That said - have seen two very different shades of the white - one very distinctly "greyer" than the other. This appears to be the lighter shade

I'm interested in codes for the Red AND the white; both shades of white actually. Even just names for the shades would be a starting point.

Thanks

I am pretty certain there are no paint codes for LL Series 2, or nearly all Spanish machines for that matter. The Series 2s are all grey though. I have not seen a white one, I don't think.

Agreed - they are both grey - one light greyey white - and the other a much darker tone

Does the rear frame grill on a spanish series 2 use the same funny little brackets that are used on series 3 models? Or is it just a nut and washer?

Take the S3's ..... How many folk knew of the Spanish TV2's say 15 years ago, or even the early non ochre SX200's ?
I also had a phone chat with Roob (I think that's how you spell his name, not sure if he is a member on here) and he has an 06 winter in his collection painted in Spanish Postal Office livery.
And what of the Eibar produced open frame models? ... are their subtle differences & unique parts to their Innocenti cousins?
I think that's part of the attraction of these machines, always something new to learn :D

The Winter Model was produced alongside the Series 3 Li post 1965. I have a Winter Model with a frame number and document proving it to have been produced in 1966. I believe it is one of the very last and as such is extremely rare.
