I am a numpty. I wrote the same number down twice, know why I confused you now. Right then. Innocenti parts book for GP headset top is 22061020 which if you Google brings up a sil top. Tops I have are 22061002 which if you Google brings up an Italian top. I know I should get out more and it won't make the tops fit my original base but it's bugging me :-) Where does that number come from

A few months ago I found a website that had all headset part numbers listed. try searching on your part numbers alone. Thats what I did.

Sound like a right numpty don't I. It was more of a, was the part number changed ? and I haven't come across a bottom with a different number.
