Just taken my first step into Lambretta ownership after always being a vespa man.

Picked up a Li125 1963 original (ish) paint perfect for a rustoration.

It has a side saddle on the rear seat and Im trying to find out some info on it. It has no markings, Makers name, part number etc.

Any info anyone can share would beuch appreciated

Unusual.

I would be interested to know if it's legal to use a side sadle in the U.K.

Nice scooter by the way!

I'm not sure on the legal side of it, but I wouldn't fancy sitting on it.

Cheers I'm looking forward to getting it on the road now it's in the bits at the moment

Is that the original paint? If so, it looks to be in remarkable condition.

Most of it is, it has had a blow over coat many years ago by the looks of it but it's currently being polished back to reveal what left of the original paint and hopefully some patina

Observe the wooden base.

I doubt Ardor, Super, Vigano or any other accessory manufacturer would want to put their name to such a contraption.

Perhaps the original occupant was.. ahem a buxom lady and the first base gave way ,either way it would look strange hurtling down the high street if anyone was brave enough to try it
