Both of my late SX150s had Noemi Rosa frames with black covers.

Can anyone tell me which exhaust tailpipe was fitted to an original standard 1967 SX150.

I thought they used the "Flower" type pipe until I looked on Scooter Centre's site:

http://www.scooter-center.com/en/produc ... +150?meta=

Where they say the "oval" shape as per GP range was used specifically for the SX 150.

Cheers

I recall them having oval or pinched round pipes rather than the flower end type

Hi y'all, I'm in the process of receiving a complete unrestored, unmolested '68 SX200, GP push in fork buffers, GP panel clips............ but it has a black buttoned light switch!! Would the later SX's have them fitted?

Yes, late SXs had black buttoned switches.

Hello,

Does anyone know if very very early sx 200's came with fibreglass front mudguards or were they definately metal?
also does anyone know that the earliest frame number is in the UK on record for an sx200?

thanks Lee

Not sure about the mudguard - the answer will be in The “idenfication” book by Vittorio.

I know of one SX200 in UK which is in the 1st 150 off the production line

On a ‘67/‘68 SX150 in Spring Grey, what colour were the internals painted please? Also, am I right in saying that the hubs and wheel rims could have been either spring grey, or metallic silver like they were on the Orange and Green ones?

It has the rectangular “Innocenti” horn casting badge and a grey plastic toolbox.

I saw an original paint SX200 (early) with a fibreglass mudguard in February in Tokyo. I did a double take when I first saw it. It belongs to Shiro, the owner of Lambrettability. I'm pretty sure I have photos somewhere, if not, just email Shiro, as I'm sure he'd be happy to send you a few.

I have an SX 150 with a fibreglass front mudguard, no idea if it's original though.

In August 1967 I bought a new SX200. It was all white apart from metallic gold flash on the side panels. The front mudguard was steel without a chrome flash. The seat was black but I don't remember the make. All the rubber trim was grey.
I can't remember if the frame badge behind the seat said Lambretta or Lambretta innocenti.
My pal had a similar machine 2 month older than mine - they were identical. I loved that machine!
In 1979/80 I picked up a very second hand 1967 SX200 with 12,000 miles recorded. It was stored 40 odd years un-touched until it became a lock down project. It differs from my new machine : I suspect due to accident damage it had a plastic front mudguard, incorrect chrome ring type handle bars (big gap above the leg shields). The side panels retainers swapped to spring clip type.
I'm having problems finding the proper handle bar TOP to complete. Anyone know the Innocenti part number for that year?

When you say "plastic" mudguard, do you mean fibreglass? I have never heard of a plastic one. My SX150 that i've had for 25 years has a fibreglass one but I don't know if it is original or not.
If it's a late one, which 1967 is not, then clip on side panel clips would be correct. Does it still have holes for handles?
It definitely should not be chrome ring. Sorry I can't help you with a part No for the correct headset but there are many dealers and parts stockists who may be able to help you with one. I have seen them for sale on Facebook.

Generally speaking, non-chrome ring Innocenti SX and late Special headset bottoms will have 19.76.1030 and A 1971/1 cast inside along with an FP logo (sometimes FPB). The FP(B) logo changed design over the course of production (different foundries?) and there is some overlap between the numbers cast into headset tops (A1972 vs. P1241), so it's best to purchase a matched set, or test both top and bottom for fitment before purchasing.
