If it's the same as my 1988, one of the wires from the right hand switch has come out. I don't have a diagram for these Leononi switches, but have one I used. Cannot post but could Whatsapp a copy to you ? It may help PM me.

A few people have confirmed that UK used TT spelling in early 80's.
I am struggling to find documentary evidence relating to TT spelling( see wanted section).
Mau at classic scooter scene advises me he will be bringing this question up in next issue.
Any one with documents with TT spelling or a machine badged with TT spelling ?
Cheers

I have an 84 Lince which I'm told is the home market 200e model, where 'e' stands for 'economy'. it has/had the following features -

Smaller top opening plastic legshield toolbox
4 pole key switch - key labeled 'Clausor'
No indicators
Blanked switch mount on gearchange side
White speed labelled 'Vegalia - Bressel' & 'Lambretta'
No sidelight
No battery
Small square regulator
Motoplat points ignition
Kidney airbox
Fat stand
Fat brake pedal - short return spring
Clown nose rear lamp

I'm in the process of acquiring an early Jet 200. From the owner, it was bought new in 1974.

I'm importing it to the USA and the Customs declaration is asking for month and year of manufacture. Is there any way of telling from the VIN, or do I just pick a month in early 1974 as they'll never know nor likely care.

If 1974 is the year of manufacture, then just put January 1974.
