The old ride...........

Postby Lord-Spanner » Mon Jul 20, 2020 9:40 pm

Hiya folks,

First post from a new LCGB member and forum joinerina, just a quick post to say hello (couldn't find anywhere on the forum to introduce myself) from me and to show you all my new ride, well old ride, should be on british soil about now, it was collected from Italy last week by Marco (seems like a decent and helpful geeza) at The scooter Emporium, just waiting for delivery........

Thanks, fingers crossed I won’t need a dustpan and brush to get it all of the van, that’s good, seems nice enough over the phone.

Getting an aged related plate first me thinks as herd that can be a problem with an import and the dvla, but hopefully Marco will send all the right bits of paper for it.
Other than that, get her running first then maybe a tidy up and run as is or restoration and paint job, will be after a bigger lump, for a bit more poke too eventually

I'm sure I've paid over the odds too, but at least its comes with the correct paper work and a nova which saves me a load of grief so that's worth the extra dollar its cost me, it's easy mate, by the options it says upload attachment, click on that, click choose file, pick the picture you want to post, double click on image, when the image number is by the choose file hit Add the file, then hit preview to check your post and it should be on your post then hit submit 8-)

He seems like a decent dude, spoke to him a few times, he's put my mind at ease with the questions I've asked, yes that sounds like a plan when the old girl is up and running :D
