I did consider it but my 2 other scooters- pacemaker and sx200 have black/white number plates on the mudguards so wanted it to be slightly different... also I wanted to break up the large area of beige on the on the front!... and where the orig tax disc is is in the way of number plates?... but yeah I’m not 100% happy with the front no plate something about it doesn’t quite work...

For my 2 cents I'd leave it and change the air brake...sorry.... rear number plate for a more suitable size. Nicely done though Sir

My van is in for a service so I’m doing my books at home today as you can see..... :)
Took the beige bomber back to the shop in was sold in... most of the buildings are still there ...

I tried to get a comparison of the mid 60s and now... not sure if it worked- it’s not easy standing in the road in today’s traffic!

Great story and a great looking scoot to boot, credit to you 8-) guessing the previous owner had looked after it well, my rusteration has been well abused, painted more times and more colours than the rainbow has, and more rust than a sunken WW1 ship but its coming on :lol:

I was part of a Reading Trolleybus restoration a couple of years a go.
I got to Signwrite the original logos back on it
