I have a gp200, the barrel is 66mm with untouched ports , it has the two cutouts on the top fin, so its either gp or sx /jet afaik, it also had a 10mm ish cast circle with a dimple in the middle of it by the inlet, i just want conformation that it is. Gp barrel as the engine has been rebuilt at some stage with some sx parts ?
ThanksRuss

This is the port map,of an Italian 66mm barrel.
It has the two nocthes at top fin,
it is untuned and marked '3' or '8',sorry I can't remember.
I don't know if it is a SX or GP barrel as it was removed from a TV200 crankcase.
It was running with a TV200 center squish head.

My late 1970 GP 200 has the bracket to take the black plastic flap and has a black plastic toolbox, horn grill and rear grill,
frame number 2574XX.
My 1969 GP 200 has metal flap, horn grill, rear grill (painted) and grey plastic toolbox.
From my understanding this was the only way these parts were fitted and of the ones I've come across, including the 125/150 models
this is the only way I've seen them arranged.

Lechler Auto Paints main web site has a list of european suppliers and there is generally one nearby. Lechler supplied the original paint and still have the codes on file. I got mine from the sheffield authorised supplier. Try these guys for your local supplier:

Lechler Coatings Ltd.
MANCHESTER
Unit 42, Pochin Way
Middlewich Cheshire
CW100GY United Kingdom
Tel. +44(0) - 1606 - 738.600
Fax +44(0) - 1606 - 738.517
lechler.uk@lechler.eu (lechler.uk@lechler.eu)

All you require is the Lechler code:
Ochre is 8080 for a start.

Last Sunday I did a 150 miles trip using the 'red' LIMS Futa rear shocker,it replaced a modern S3 Casa-Carbone (right),
the old shocker is miles better,I was shocked :)

I searched more into some old used stuff that I have and found another LIMS Futa-Felsina,both LIMS (center) measure more than 310mm is this normal for GP models?
The red one is a little longer.
Dave Webster's tuning manual says that it is better to use a longer rear shocker for better clearance.

Where can I get replacement outer bushes for original rear shockers?
Has anyone ever tried Escorts (left) bushes on older shockers?

Can anyone confirm or deny if a GP/DL125 used an S3 air box as standard for the 20mm carb. Bought the set shown below and not sure if they below together or not!

No problem mate.

Those numbers are exactly matching S3 Li125 parts.

Hi folks , I'm trying to find someone who stocks the rivets used to hold the anchor points
in the GP plastic toolboxes as I want to remove mine to have them re-plated.
I seem to remember there was someone on here who removed their's while restoring a GP
but I can't find the thread.

Cheers in advance

on the subject of horn grill my 1969 gp150 as it was in the 1973ish had a metal ali horn grill which it still has to day but the rear frame grill was plastic because it got knacked with nitromorse when it got painted (hot stuff) grey plastic tool box tho . the colours new were horncasting and side panels red the rest white with black strips. but am told if correct lambretta in London would add the red for UK market any comments Yes I know its an innocent disc brake etc a scrapped an SX200 to get that in 1982 and make it into a GP200 !!! photo last summer

Did original grey toolbox GPs have the battery sticker on the toolbox or the petrol tank. If I remember rightly I'm pretty sure it was on the toolbox, but cannot find a photo of an unrestored GP to back up my memory. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

Not sure if I have the right answer but along time ago on here there was a lengthy discussion about this because of the black toolboxes used later on and therefore would you see the black writing. I seem to remember that your thoughts are correct though and that the sticker was placed on the toolbox.
