No I don't think so. I believe you have to register each year to take part in the BSRA Championship.

Give Rick and Ann and email: info@bsra-uk.com

The Rugby club have a tournament on over weekend so we can't have it for campsite. Looking at alternatives at the minute.

If there still hasn’t been a campsite sorted by the vfm and we’re getting to the end of January it only gives folk 8 weeks to find an alternative and obviously most hotels and b & b’a will be booked up.

I thought one of the criteria's for a National was a campsite ? Bit disappointing to find out at this stage that there isn't one.

One night B&B in Whitby is non-existent.

Neither has Scarborough. But any group asking to host a rally is asked to provide camping. Whitby has had camping in the past and I can't think when it hasn't had camping. Did the BRSA know there was no camping when Whitby was chosen ?

The rugby club has only been used the last two times so hopefully we can go back to where it was 2012 and before.

We should hopefully have an alternative sorted shortly.

WHITBY
Unfortunately we have had no luck in setting up an official campsite for the Scooter Rally at Whitby. Our normal site at the Rugby Club is unavailable,as they've got games on all weekend. The other alternative was Whitby Community College, but because of mud issues, they wont let us use their fields so early in the year.

The following is a list of numbers for sites in the local area. Probably the best option is Broadings Farm on the outskirts of Whitby as it is very close to town. Phone 01947 601542 Guisborough Rd YO211TL

Other options are:
Bayness Farm
www.baynessfarm.co.uk

Runswick Bay
01947 840997
6 miles

Middlewood Camping
01947 880414
Robin Hood Bay

Camped at broadings farm on Friday night, didn't book just rolled up and they squeezed me on. I'm guessing they must of had a few cancel on Friday as there seemed plenty of space.
Showers and toilets clean and tidy, the ground was very damp to say the least so no hammer needed for the pegs!!! 10-15 min walk to the harbour. Only £7 a night, I was happy with that, sadly putting the tent away Saturday morning in the cold and rain wasn't such a happy feeling.
