Early li 125 gearbox on a ts1 ?

Need help with a tuning kit, how do you tune your scooter, which kit should I choose, and all general tuning and modifcations questions are for in here.

Hi, just wondered is anyone is running one of these boxes on ts 225 with a bgm clubman exhaust & also what sprocket set up do you have ? thanks for any info ;)

I’d av thought 18x47 = 4.8 be best

Yep, great box
Easier clutch life with bigger front sprocket, as per the 4.8 set up above
Great ratio in 1st esp if 2 up, luggage etc
Often unworn & cheap
Don’t tell everyone thou ;)

Agreed.
I run 2 of them. 1 on a very revvy TS1 with a 16 tooth and the other on an RT195 with a 17.
Cost less than a third of what you pay for an LI150 box

thanks for your replies ;) what sprockets would you recommend for this gearbox ?full frame series 1, ts225, 30mm dellorto & bgm clubman & a 12 stone rider ! :) thanks again ;)

18 x 47 would be a good starting point.

Hi, guys, quick update , fitted the li 125 box today ,tried the 18x47 combo pulled great uphill but seem to run out of steam on the flat, put 17 X 46 combo on , much better ;) thanks again for your advice ;)
