These x7 kits, would it also be a different exhaust needed ?
or are they the same fitting type as TS1 ?

The exhaust manifold is the same as a TS1 but the studs are 8mm ,I've got this kit but haven't quite got it sorted yet it's got a flat spot between 3500-4500 but once it's through that and in the power it goes mad ....

Have you considered the Monza.Martin at justlambretta.com had a few of these one of which I bought and am more than happy with. May be an option for you.
Ps. With the Monza piston supplied with the kit it is designed to run with a 58/107 crank due to ring peg positions. I swapped mine for the one with offset pegs due to running it with a 60/115 crank. Regards.Bazza.

Hi, at the moment I'm running a GP200 gearbox with 19 x 46sprockets ,a JL 4 ,a 30mm PHBH with a 40mm slide ,av268,x13 at 2 and half clips,62 pilot and 132 main through a filter.i had it dyno'd and they told me it would benefit from fitting a different pipe .so this weekends job is fitting a franspeed race.

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't a jl4 and franspeed race pretty much the same thing?

I used to think that ,I've got both and the're different shapes and I found the franspeed less peaky and a lot quieter.

Will you need to alter the jetting Mori after swapping the pipe?

I left it the same but only did a few more miles before a mate of mine diagnosed "a death rattle " which turned out to be the mag bearing so it's all on hold.....
