My headset bottom is numbered 22061030 as the parts book but the top is 22061002 not 22061020 as the book. Any idea. Seen a few at parts fairs and flea bay with same number as mine but not seen one with number in book

Italian GP200 air scoop number

Postby Gary » Fri Sep 08, 2017 10:29 am

If anyone can help please:
What number should be on an original GP200 air scoop?
Thanks in advance, Gary.

I have always assumed that it is the same colour as on the Lui, Steve:

Arancione (Orange)
8037
1968

But, I could well be wrong :?:

I've seen a few gp's with a darker grey fork hub. Is this colour something that owners have taken upon themselves to do. I like the look of it and was thinking of doing this to my next project. I'd prefer the correct colour code if anybody knows please.

Thanks daz

I've checked out all the codes in the references throughout this section. Nothing is close to a darker grey just a silver. Which leaves me to think owners have taken it upon themselves to go this colour.

Thought I'd share this and get the thread back on top :-)

https://fahrzeuge.dorotheum.com/en/auct ... sults=sold
to show a result from an Austrian auction recently. Its about 9.500 in £ plus subject to a 18.34% buyer’s premium and 20% VAT !
It's a link to a GP200 electronic 1971.
There's some other interesting stuff sold there if you can be bothered to wade through.

Anyone know what colour the cables and wiring harness were on a white GP, or were they all black?

There were no cable oilers on GP's. They were stopped a few years before the GP's were made. AFAIK the cables were also black although I seem to remember a debate about the use of grey cables in early models. I don't think many people look on this section anymore and the question may be better answered in chit chat?

Can anyone confirm if there were three types of GP/dl flywheel cowlings? Two with drainage hose clips, and one without. I'm familiar with this early type, as both the 1969 GPs I own had them fitted:

...but recently came across this one. Has anyone seen this type before? In terms of production, does it proceed the one above, or follow it?

My early '69 GP has one similar to your second picture:

Uploading this as many of the photos of Indonesian market SX and dl/GPs were lost when the old forum went down. For reference an Innocenti dl/GP horncast for the Indonesian market. Sorry for the low resolution.
