Series 2 petrol flap

Is the petrol flap for series 2 the same as for series 3? I know the GP one is different but are the earlier ones interchangeable?

I always thought the petrol flaps were all the same. I'm not aware of the GP being any different.

Late GP had split hinges rather than a single piece. I think
