SX200 gear change

Sorry if this an old topic. Just replaced gearbox output bearing and seal, tightened to correct torque, re shimmed the gears, replaced clutch. All correct as per Stickys manual. Readjusted the cables several times. On the road the scoot changes up like a dream but is a cow son changing down. Adjusted the clutch a couple of times, still the same. Any ideas of a solution would be appreciated. Cheers. Pete

Cables ? or your Gear tie bar linkage alignment ?
