My mate is looking for a new kickstart lever.

Who makes or sells a decent quality item?

I got both of mine from Just Lambretta, one cheap and cheerful and one excellent quality. The cheap one I sprayed black to suit the black engine and both have been absolutely faultless for several years now 8-)
