Any lince/lynx owners past or present ?

That can tell me........ HOW THE FECK ???? to connect the speedo cable up, and fit the headset back on ????......... im stumped :(

Don't recall there being a specific problem other than the sheer number of wires, connectors and warning lights making it a bit fiddly.

Are you losing patience with it already :P

My series 80 is no problem, exactly the same as my special. just shove the cable up from below, connect cable to speedo and push headset back down...simples or is the Lince headset different :?

No, its the lince fibre glass headset top.
A normal headset is lowered down onto the bottom following the angle of the forks. The lince top also fits under the headset bottom , so needs 'hooking ' on at the front first before it can be lowered down. This means the cable has to do a very sharp s shape to go down the fork tube .

Relax fellas , ive done it :) ...........I know youve all been worried :)

I took the headlight out which gives it just about enough room to fit on :D

The speedo still dosent work though ...so more investigation is required :)
