Hi all, li150 fully rebuilt and starts/runs lovely. Only problem is that when pulling the clutch in the bike still wants to move forward. Any suggestions ?

Try adjusting the cable to see if it will stop the dragging if not you may have to look at the clutch inside

I have tightened the cable and still no change, could the clutch plates be stuck ? It was sat for a few months before I put it in the bike.

Can’t be stuck if it’s only dragging it could be a clearance issue in the basket ?

What Toddy says Buddy -- I had the same issue, changed out old for new, what I found was that the cork plates were 1.5mm too thick, so there was zero room in the basket for the plates to separate & completely disengage engine. I swapped out new clutch plates (and measured them before they went in) and fitted new thinner steels. Problem solved after months of messing about. Hope that helps, G

I remember a batch of Surflex B plates been thicker.
I found that out but swapped to AF GT springs and cured.
